And the Nobel Prize goes to…

In 2010, the Nobel Prize in Physics was won by Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov, both professors at the University of Manchester.

The prestigious award was given to two Russian researchers, both professors at the University of Manchester, "for groundbreaking experiments regarding the two-dimensional material graphene".

Graphene was the first bi-dimensional material discovered in the world and there is no other thinner, stronger and more conductive material.
